Last Months of Pregnancy are Tough

Do you remember that last month of being pregnant? Are you in it?

I’m sure I wouldn’t have remembered it so well if it weren’t for my DD being there not so long ago.  From what I remember it was really rough. I couldn’t sit for long – too hard on the tailbone.  I couldn’t stand for long – too hard on the feet.  I couldn’t even lay down for long – too hard on everything!  That big belly just made everything I did feel uncomfortable.

DD was the same way. She hardly slept because she had to switch positions all of the time.  She had to pee every five minutes.  She never wanted to go anywhere because by the time she got there she was out of energy!

The last month of pregnancy (or more if you gain a lot of weight) is not a great time because your body just is not comfortable with that weight on your belly.

I found a cool site with some neat options for making it a little more comfortable in the last month of pregnancy.

Those Strange Noises Heard Around the World

Have any of you heard those strange noises?  Do you know what I’m talking about?

If you don’t the gist of it is that all over the world people are hearing these strange noises coming from the sky.  Some people say that it sounds like trumpets.  Others say it sounds like whale song.  But whatever it sounds like to others it sounds just creepy to me.

I haven’t actually heard them myself – I’ve only heard them on the YouTube videos.  But I have to admit they totally creep me out.  It sounds like something from a movie.

What are they really?  No one seems to know for sure.  Some say it is the sign of the Apocalypse and the people that can hear it are the ones that are going to survive and this is their warning.  Others say it is some scientific thing that the government is secretly doing.  Yet others say that it is the sound of sun flares and that the sun is going to explode.  And then there is the whole alien invasion thing.

The Apocalypse and the alien invasion thing are the ones that freak me out the most.  The aliens because I think I’ve just watched too many alien movies and I have nightmares about aliens sometimes.  And those are the dreams that affect me the most.  The Apocalypse freaks me out too because I watch a lot of post-apocalyptic movies and shows and my imagination gets kind of wild sometimes.

And yes, that includes writers.  If SOPA passes then online writers will lose work because there will be less companies that are willing to hire out services for fear of getting in trouble and losing their site.  If SOPA passes, most writing companies like TextBroker and TheContentAuthority will shut down.  If SOPA passes, you might not even have Facebook or YouTube to entertain you!
